Just a thought....

  1. This made me think of the lovely pictureon Kippy's page of her Buddha with the sunflower :-) No anger in that place of love!

  2. Absolutely, Marty! I posted this as a reminder to myself. I am less angry these days, but I spent many years angry and it almost destroyed me.

  3. What's that other saying..."Don't get angry.... get even"... (Hope nobody's angry at me).

"Age tempers anger" (Bert just made that up).

(Temper, Definition #2 = Adjusted or attuned by the addition of a counterbalancing element; moderated or measured.)

It's normal to get angry at times, just don't stay angry!

  5. There's a time to be justifiably angry, but the destruction lies in how you let anger fester and continue to grow in your mind, and how it reaches out and affects those around you.

  6. An interesting article, that. The author scared me! *laugh* Not someone I'd want to come up against. You know that site is managed by one of the contestants in the Good Mood Blogger contest last year? :) They need an editor to fix the typos in the writing. hehe.

Marty, thank you. :) I really love the Buddha section of our yard. It makes me so happy just to sit out there and enjoy the tranquility.

  7. Kippy, I thought the same, but I also thought that he sounds a lot like the way I used to get... really angry and obnoxious in my anger. I think that I got the link to the Good News Blogger competition through this girlie or the other way around. Can't remember now.

Faye, that's absolutely correct... to me, it's not the anger itself, but leaving the anger to fester that is destructive.

Riete, that's just it... not staying angry. Let the anger serve its purpose if it has to, then move on.

Bert, age does mellow one... sometimes.
