*jumps up and down*
Ok, it will only be open after 9am daily and only off-peak hours, but at least I can get home a lot faster.
Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!
Ok, so the new metro station is 1.5 miles (30 minutes walk according to Google maps) away. There is, however a bus that will take me virtually from my front door to the metro in 10 minutes. Then it's just half an hour into town (or return, depending on which way you look at it). That cuts my travel time from 2 hours to 40 minutes!!! *grins*
Yay! That is fantastic, Tint! Wow!! A true reason to celebrate! :D
ReplyDeleteYessssssss!!! =D
ReplyDeleteGreat!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited! Can you tell? =)
ReplyDeleteHaha. No way!
ReplyDeleteGee... guess I'll have to spell it out then. I'm EXCITED!! =Þ
ReplyDeleteEXCELLENT! Close and shiny and new! Life is made better by simple things! (That cost tons of money and take years and years and years and thousands of creative man hours and labor too, I know, but let's just go with the basics here for now, because I would be TOTALLY and COMPLETELY as excited as you-- maybe even--dare I say it? Ecstatic!!!
ReplyDeleteEcstatic is the perfect word, Marty! : )
ReplyDeleteThat's a huge difference! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYay! Joining in your happy dance. ....but now when will you write? Okay, you still have a 40 minute trip. Better write faster. :)
ReplyDeleteWOW that is a HUGE change - and how faaabulooous!!!! Congrats, you!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are not going to know what to do with all that extra time :)
ReplyDeleteWoooohoooooo!!!! That is SO exciting!!!! FANTASTIC!!!
ReplyDeleteCewl! How exciting!
ReplyDelete:) Yay for public transportation!!! And how pretty, too!! Shiny and new!!! I'm excited, Tint. I know my bike is up and running but cold weather is just a few months away for me...so your good news feels like good news for me, too!!!
ReplyDeletegood news indeed. Time saved really counts, and such a huge save should really make a difference :D . I had similar sensation some years ago when started going to work with my own car. It takes more than an hour to go to my current work, and that was also true for my last work, if going by public transportation (including time necessary to walk to the bus stop and to proceed from destination one to the office) while it is only 20 minutes by car or only 10 minutes during summer months when the traffic gets really easy in town.
ReplyDeleteGood news for you! Smiles
ReplyDeleteAMAZING! Now I understand why you've been bouncing all week long ;)))) Cool!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope they iron out their bugs soon and you get some life back...
