And... we got Jurgis' translations back. Next step is to start the application process *boom chaga chaga*
Now if you'll all excuse me, I have a teensy weensy toy to play with.....
Spinning through life on a web of dreams... Unconventional and just slightly eccentric
Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
Yay! I'm glad it came through ok.
ReplyDelete*whew* Awesome news, all the way around!! :D YAY! Oh, I hope that "old iPod that doesn't really work" does you well. haha.
ReplyDeleteJurgis fixed it ; ) It was a miracle cure, I tell ya!
ReplyDeleteJeremy, I'm glad too. It was a huge surprise. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI knew he could work wonders. ;) haha.
ReplyDeleteWOOT!! WOOT!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBoom chakalakka indeed!!!!!

ReplyDeleteKatey? Jaldi? Whatyoubeendrinking??? You like chakalakka? Careful... that stuff is dangerous =Þ
I first thought they were sending you a typewriter!!! For you to write a novel, as if you were taking up a new hobby.. Yeah, I can be very imaginative at times ; ) Anyway, I'm so very happy for you!!!! Those are very good friends of your, I wonder who they are...
ReplyDeleteSurprises are just the best! Hooray!
ReplyDeleteIt's Indian for Quickly! Quickly!! (One of the Indian languages .... I forget which one ....)
ReplyDeleteOhhh ... haha. I should have recognized it. I never knew how to spell it and it's pronounced like jeldi. I think it's Hindi. I remember using it in the taxis a lot. haha.
ReplyDeleteThat's my made up spelling so you could be right Kippy! :)
ReplyDeleteThere's a Take Away somewhere up north called Jaldi Jaldi! :)
ReplyDeletehaha. Nah, you could be right, too. I didn't know how to spell very much of the language I spoke up there. You know how that goes?
ReplyDeletePoifecktlee! ;)
ReplyDeletehmm...I don't have any idea what this is about, except maybe Kippy sent you something small! So it must be good!
ReplyDeleteRemember when I was doing the good mood blogger thing, Kat? And afterwards they sent me a package of stuff? One of the things was an iPod Shuffle, which I knew Tint really needed. It's just now getting to her, thanks to my fear of customs and a seriously failed attempt at thwarting them a different way. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing over the thwarting customs part...Years ago I wanted to send Tat a few pairs of Dr. Martens-Tint told me how horrible customs was down there so I skipped it. However!!! I hear Tat has some stompin' Docs of her own now...but good you have a shuffle...and a book...and some stuff. Yay for inept government workers!!! Ha ha!!
ReplyDelete**disclaimer (the above comment was meant in sarcasm with a side of humor, no real offense was made to the hardworking government workers who AREN'T handling Tint's surprise packages, lol)
ReplyDeletehahahaha! Kat... inept... omg... yes! *is very, very grateful this time* You know, the weird part is that since that time, I actually ordered shoes online a couple of times with no problem, but then I had hassles with a pair of pants I ordered. They're nutso here!
ReplyDeleteWAHOO!!! *starts dancing
ReplyDeleteNow who's da deejay?!?! *laughs
Jaime, who needs a dj? We make our own music. Besides...
ReplyDeleteOh fiddlesticks... we'll set off another earthquake!

ReplyDeletesuch fun getting parcels isnt it :) nice folk that Jeremy and Kippy!!!
ReplyDeleteConsiders adding "Hamba! Hamba!" in Xhosa.... ok, that does mean 'go go', but you know what I mean. I don't think 'quick' occurs to them.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is fun : )
