Sign Language Opens Music World to Deaf Citizens

I love what this girl is doing. She has a huge heart! One day I hope to take up my studies again.... somewhere else, of course : )

  2. Yes. I do signed English, which is all wrong lol and ASL and SADSL (South African Deaf Sign Language).

  3. It's ASL I learned. And it was probably very colloquial too. Mrs. Leicht went to Gallaudet U, so she'd say "this is correct, but this is what we say..." sorta thing.

  4. There's a lot of regional signing as well. Signed English is signing word for word.... with English grammar. Very different from ASL. We did ASL first because we knew no better, learning from books and videos. Then we did the South African sign language.

  7. What a great story... Seems so obvious, why hasn't this been done all along? Sure glad she's doing it, now thanks to her maybe it will catch on and be done more.
