Little black bugs
buzzing through the traffic
shiny round heads
and feelers
Trying not to get squashed
Perhaps a little too confident
in their ability to outwit

ReplyDeleteI love how much you manage to put into so few words... *Is jealous of your ability*
ReplyDeletesmile , that's cute lol
ReplyDeleteI was shocked to see in California in the 80s (not having ever been out of my home state before) how the motorcyclists would ride through the rush hour traffic between the lanes of cars, along the dividing lines! That takes courage, because you don't know when someone will make a fast move, or even just open up their door just to spite you. Cycling is fun, I miss it.
ReplyDeleteThe Japanese cyclists ALWAYS ride this way. They'll ride up on the curb side as well, right next to the cars, even in town traffic. Sometimes "brave" and "stupid" look a lot alike to the untrained eye ;o) It's the norm there though!
