Spinning through life on a web of dreams... Unconventional and just slightly eccentric
Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
Do you sign? I know I probably asked you that already...
Yes. I do signed English, which is all wrong lol and ASL and SADSL (South African Deaf Sign Language).
It's ASL I learned. And it was probably very colloquial too. Mrs. Leicht went to Gallaudet U, so she'd say "this is correct, but this is what we say..." sorta thing.
There's a lot of regional signing as well. Signed English is signing word for word.... with English grammar. Very different from ASL. We did ASL first because we knew no better, learning from books and videos. Then we did the South African sign language.
Well this brought tears to my eyes ... what an amazing gift she's sharing! Wow.
I felt the same way, Kippy. What she's doing is something so special. She has a big heart : )
What a great story... Seems so obvious, why hasn't this been done all along? Sure glad she's doing it, now thanks to her maybe it will catch on and be done more.
absolutely lovely story, such dedication, such love.
Thank you for stopping by! Do leave a note, so I know you were here and can visit you too :) Tint~
