Spinning through life on a web of dreams... Unconventional and just slightly eccentric
Just a thought....
Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.

Don't you just hate it when someone always says just the right thing... and makes what you say look insipid? Don't you just hate thinking of the perfect thing to say after they've said it? Then if you say it, it will look as though you're simply parroting them. Or you lie in bed at night thinking of all the perfect things you could have said (this usually happens after an intense discussion or argument).

YES!!!!
ReplyDeleteLol!!!
What happened??
I'd better say nothing because someone will come and will make my saying look insipid!
ReplyDeleteYes, what happened?!
It's why I don't comment a lot on the posts I see here...I have nothing that would add to them. Happy Mother's Day Tint. (even if it's not there I'll share mine with you)
ReplyDeleteLOL Nothing happened : ) It's just that I so often say something live or in a blog and shortly afterwards someone will articulate just what I wanted to say, but with me, it's a kind of tripping over words. You know... when you're out walking, stumbling over tree roots, then a gazelle-like girl runs past gracefully with hair flying =Þ
ReplyDeleteIt's mother's day here too, Cherie. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteAhh thought you were referring to something in particualr, but yes I hate it too!
ReplyDeleteHappy Mother's Day! I didin't know it's celebrated in Brazil?! How weird, not in Argentina!
Aaaah but you know what? Eventually the gazelle gets chowed by a lion and the trippy tortoise lives the longest ;)
ReplyDeleteDani, Brazil loves a holiday. Any excuse will do ; )
ReplyDeleteYes!!! Katey... you're a marvel!!
haha. Happy Mother's Day my tortoisey friend.
ReplyDeleteTortoise, schmortoise....

ReplyDeleteI always think of the right thing to say... a few days later.
LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm like that. Which is why I so love the internet. I don't have great verbal skills. I blank out and go quiet. My dad used to call it, "Ummm brain syndrome." So here I can fake eloquent, but in spoken words... ROFL! nope. Which I usually warn those internet friends who phone me, but forgot with you, Tint. Now you know. ;-)
Many of those moments come to mind! IYou reminded me of a pet peeve I have of people not allowing you time to reply. They assume a pause means you either have no reply or are ignoring them.
