  4. Jules, not the farm girl right now. Lots of stories to tell there, but much as I love my phone it's NOT cut out for blogging! Oh we were so spoiled when we each had a pc!

Hmmmm... Heaven could also smell like lemon meringue...our fresh apple...or...

  5. Little things you don't think about until it's there. You're right---it's a lovely pleasure. And lilacs, peonies and honeysuckle wafting through the open windows...

  6. True, Kat. I hate when I get those questionnaires that ask for your favourite smell.... I can never choose just one!

  8. I've been trying to post from my mobile... I considered doing a blog, but typing on the mobile (even with Swype) is hard work and it didn't give me an option to add a photo. Bah! But I managed to get a note put out : ) I do need to do some decent blogging. You know those times when so much is happening, but nothing is happening that's bloggable? It's like that. I should do a snow blog. That'll work *laughing*

  9. ah yes, that's when I do random posts, throwing a whole load of little things into one random mix. I just start with the first thing that comes to mind and keep going in a beach-combing kind of way.

but typing on a mobile... you have my sympathy...

  10. Have you ever poked whole cloves into an orange and placed it on the counter? My grandmother loved to do that around Christmas, she'd tie a ribbon around the orange and hang it up. Smelled so good.

  11. Oh I love the idea! I may steal that : )

  12. I used to do that a lot in South Africa. I don't have cloves handy here - whole or otherwise - and the oranges are sooo good to eat! : )

  15. I bet it looks beautiful on the Brecons :-))

BTW. Myself and Baz (I think you know him?) are planning to do some walking, probably at Pen Y Fan, in late Spring/early Summer. You'd be quite welcome to join us :-))

  23. winter, snow, and orange with a good handful of cloves stuck into the orange for a fresh fragrance to keep away winter's gloom. And yes, another orange to be eaten. Hell, yeah, that's almost heaven ;)
